Michelle McMahon has over 20 years experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities as well as those who experience mental health and psychiatric conditions. She earned both a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Psychology, and has completed post-graduate studies in Psychiatric Rehabilitation. Michelle served as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology for ten years at Montclair State University, and developed/supervised award-winning internship programs with local Universities for over 15 years. She is well versed in the operations of DDD, DCF, Early Intervention, Pre-school, Day Care, Mental Health and other service systems, and has expertise in areas of quality improvement, strategic planning, policy development, and accreditation processes.
Michelle is passionate about the mission of The Arc of Somerset County, and hopes to enhance its efforts to provide quality services and advocacy for the individuals it serves.
