Intensive In-Home Clinical and Therapeutic Services is designed to assist families who have children and youth up to the age 21 with developmental disabilities living at home who experience acute behavior incidents and/or have a history of mental health issues.
The goal of this face-to-face service is to assist the child in acquiring, retaining, and improving the self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills needed to function successfully in home, at school, and in community based settings. Services to address challenging behaviors include in-home behavioral supports, behavioral support training, and in-home clinical and therapeutic services. As a result of these services, the children and youth will demonstrate an increase in their appropriate behaviors and positive social interactions.
The program is staffed with licensed clinicians who hold advanced degrees and certifications in Counseling, Special Education, and Social Work.
To qualify for the services detailed above, children and youth up to age 21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities must be found eligible by the New Jersey Department of Children and Families Division of Children’s System of Care.
