Empowering Families, Building Futures
Parents And Children Together (PACT) is a vital, community-based program serving Somerset County families headed by parents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. PACT is designed to strengthen families through prevention, education, and individualized support—ensuring that parents have the tools they need to nurture their children and maintain stability in the home.
Through a preventative, family-centered approach, PACT helps parents access essential community resources while building the skills to live, work, and parent independently. By providing consistent support, the program promotes children’s emotional well-being, educational success, and overall family resilience.
Our dedicated staff, including professionals with advanced degrees and certifications in Social Work, Special Education, and Counseling, bring expertise, compassion, and a commitment to advocacy. PACT Family Interventionists work directly with families to:
• Deliver personalized parenting education and guidance
• Provide case management and connections to community resources
• Support child development and school readiness
• Promote positive family routines that strengthen long-term stability
Through PACT, families are not only supported in the present—they are equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and community connections needed to thrive in the future.
